I was just thinking... Why is Magnus' net nickname "Lazarus"? I'd say that "Azrael" is much more apropriate, as Azrael is angel of death (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azrael), watching dying man departure. How about that?

A very good question. Maybe Hendrik shoud answer that because I don't know why he chose this net nickname for Magnus.

Yes, Tims interpretation fits nicely. Actually, it's an ironic way to describe Magnus' sick self-conception. He considers himself a saviour, bringing bliss to those who've never found anything worth living on earth.
"Azrael" would have been way too obvious and doesn't fit the way Magnus feels about his role in there.

Actually that's a nice idea. I am just thinking for instance of a desktop wallpaper on Magnus computer with that allusion.
