Czesc und Hallo!

Firstly I want to give a big respect to all of those who collaborate(d) on the movie! It must have been really a big amount of work - doing this all for free I really hope the fun of working on this project was/is worth the effort. :-) Especially the actors did a very great job in my humble oppinion.

I was really interested in this movie since, first of all, I am german, have polish friends and, well, I stayed in Finland for about one year. :-) I also once went hiking at the Inari Lake and I've been to Kraków recently. It was somehow funny to see the mix-up of the locations. I know, that it has been a zero-budget, so for that, I'd still say, the polish locations are picked with a great phantasy!

But maybe at least the sound could get some improvement here and there before the final version? For example, you shouldn't be able to hear any car in Inari (-> church scene). It's really magic - sooooo quiet. :-)

Again, thanks, it's been an illuminating touching tragedy, I'll spread the word!

All the best for future movies!
Benjamin

Sound in Inari

Hello and thanks for the nice words smiling smiley Regarding the sound in Inari it is unfortunately impossible to remove the car sounds in the background. We recorded the scene in a quite noisy place and although Michael Georgi did an amazing job on the sound-editing there are certain limits where only re-recording the voice of the actors would help.

FYI: almost all sound has been recorded on-set. Only the actor's voices in scenes 54 (runa-father) and 56 (ending) have been re-recorded because it was impossible to get the mics close enough to the actors while shooting the scene.

Update: It seems I underestimated Michael's abilities (again). It took him half a day but he was able to reduce any car sound in this scene to a minimum smiling smiley
